Trumbull Parks and Recreation
Trumbull residents have access to over 1400 acres of park land, Tashua Knolls 18 hole golf co urse, Tashua Glen 9 hole par 33 executive course, 2 outdoor pools and one indoor pool, more than 20 tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and numerous lacrosse, baseball and soccer fields scattered throughout the town.
Local teens enjoy the Teen Center located in the Barn at Indian Ledge Park, as well as Teen Nights at the two local outdoor pools. In addition, the Trumbull Youth Commission provides educational, recreational and cultural programs for the youth of the town with After-school Enrichment Programs, Pre-school programs, and Summer Enrichment programs.
In addition, the town has an ampitheater stage with an adjacent field that can accomodate seating for 8,000. In rece nt years, bands such as Chicago and the Beach Boys performed at the ampitheater to the delight of town residents.

Trumbull Shopping
There are four shopping areas in Trumbull: the Westfield Mall, Town Hall Plaza, Trumbull Center and Hawley Lane. Westfield Mall retailers include Macys, Lord and Taylor, the Gap, Eddie Bauer, Abercrombie, Ann Taylor, JCPenney and many others . Target, Kohls, Best Buy and Home Goods are the major retailers at the Hawley Lane Mall. Super Stop and Shop is located at Town Hall Plaza, and Porricellis Food Market is located in Trumbull Center. |
